FA CUP 4th Round! Southampton FC vs Manchester Utd
Our local football team, Southampton FC, residing in the 3rd tier of English football took on the mighty Manchester Utd on Saturday 29th January 2010, in the 4th round of the FA Cup at their impressive 32,000 seat St Mary’s stadium in Southampton.
The game was televised live to a prospective global audience in excess of 20 million, and our advertising board at the stadium we hoped would bring good luck against the Premiership side!!

Sadly the game ended 1-2 Manchester Utd, but Saints gave an excellent account of themselves and took a first half lead, only to lose out to a rather laboured but rugged performance from the Premiership club. So what’s next for Saint? All eyes on promotion to the Championship. Good luck Saints!
