Virgin Atlantic Cargo

Since Virgin Atlantic were first formed in 1984 they have developed a unique air travel experience, both for passengers and cargo, using a positive, forward thinking attitude and a philosophy of working in partnership with their clients and suppliers alike.

This attitude towards business is similar to the ethos employed here at Southampton Freight Services Ltd with our positive and friendly manner, accompanying our innovative approach to the industry helping to make our joint partnership particularly strong. Indeed we were fortunate enough to celebrate Virgin’s 10 year anniversary of flying to Las Vegas in 2010, as previously reported in our SFS News.

We have worked in close partnership with Virgin Atlantic Cargo since forming in 1998, handling their coastwise trucking service for in-bond import cargo arriving into London destined for Southampton Airport (which enters into our ERTS bonded facility at our Southampton HQ). We also support Virgin’s inbound and outbound services to North America, the Caribbean, the Far East,  Australia and certain parts of Africa. Services are offered for all types of cargo including fresh and frozen food products, fresh flowers, hazardous cargo and many other important and time sensitive shipments.

At SFS it’s important that our global partners replicate our service levels and attitude, allowing our clients to feel safe in the knowledge that their cargo is in safe hands through our global supply chain. Virgin Atlantic Cargo work hard to cement our relationship and provide detailed solutions to our clients’ constantly adapting requests and requirements; flexibly is the key, coupled with a desire to please and succeed. We remain proud partners of Virgin Atlantic Cargo.
