Attending the TFC Conference in Penang

Our Managing Director recently attended the TFC (The Freight Club) network conference in Penang, Malasyia, representing Southampton Freight Services as the UK member of the Freight Forwarders Network.
We have been members of the network since 1999 and work with a number of the other members to represent our interests across the globe. You can read more about the TFC in our online information centre.
The conference consists of general and more specific one to one meetings with our partners from across the globe, presentations from members, explaining the local dynamics of freight handling and distribution in their respective locations, and time for relaxed discussions over dinner and drinks. These events provide Southampton Freight Services Ltd with deeper local knowledge of various destinations/origins and a personal contact with the business owners that represent us across the world. The meetings were a great success and we have further cemented relationships with many existing partners, whilst establishing new connections with like minded, privately owned freight forwarders across the globe, providing a stronger platform to serve our clients across the globe.
